APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Discuss intent with Paul and Carlo.
• $200 application fee to reserve spot.
• 50% deposit by January 31, 2009.
• Flight itinerary by March 15, 2009.
• Balance due April 30, 2009.
• Signature of a liability waiver (to be provided later) also by April 30.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Full refund (minus application fee) on or before February 28, 2009.
• Partial refund (minus $1000) on or before April 30, 2009.
• $1000 refund only on or before June 10, 2008. Due to the tight budget, we will not be able to make allowances for illness or emergencies.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Failure to meet any of the deadlines listed above, including submission of a travel itinerary, may be construed as cancellation.

In the unlikely event that we must cancel the course (due to lack of interest or force majeur), we will refund all money. However, we cannot be held responsible for air fares or other costs incurred by prospective students. Once we have met our minimum interest level, we will inform prospective students of that fact.

RATES:

Registration for Michelangelo Screenwriting 2009 is $3400. This covers:

• Tuition for Michelangelo Screenwriting Program (see PROGRAM information) .
• 2 weeks at the Villa Michelangelo, a vacation home that normally rents for around $5000 per week (see VILLA information).*
• Approximately 20 meals (see VILLA information).
• Printing costs.
• Pickup and dropoff at Camucia-Cortona train station, if required.
• A copy of Paul Chitlik's book, Rewrite!
• Non-refundable $200 application fee.

Students have the option to pay a higher registration fee (subject to availability) in order to reserve more space at the villa. Details on the HOUSING page.
